Outreach Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy

David Wallace, Doctor of Physical Therapy

David is a graduate of New York Medical College, and a New York State licensed Physical Therapist specializing in a wide range of post-surgical and gym related orthopedic injuries. David is also working toward becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), and regularly sees number of different upper extremity and hand conditions, including but not limited to tennis elbow, distal radial fractures, arthritis of the hand and fingers, trigger finger, and ligament sprains.  He has had mentorships from several renowned Certified Hand Therapists, and enjoys fabricating basic hand and wrist splints.  Always committed to furthering his knowledge base and patient care, David has taken a number of continuing education courses through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy, and is Graston trained.

Having graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in Asian Studies, David is also conversant in Mandarin.

David is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and the Hand section. In his free time, he enjoys reading, weightlifting, cycling, training martial arts, and learning a new tune on guitar.

Manju Thomas, Physical Therapist

Manju Thomas specializes in treating orthopedic conditions involving the spine (back and neck) and extremities (knee, shoulder, hip, elbow, ankle and foot), and movement and balance disorders. She provides patient-centered one on one care. She facilitates patient recovery, and promotes independence and long-term management through education and modification of functional activities contributing to the condition, and exercises to correct muscle imbalances.

She attended Washington University, in St. Louis, where she received her Master’s in Physical Therapy, Duke University where she earned her Master’s in Business Administration, and Cornell University for her undergraduate studies.

Her hobbies include gardening, home improvement, sports, including jogging, soccer, and tennis, and traveling.

Nelly Galindo-Pita, Physical Therapist

Nelly Galindo-Pita is a dedicated and reliable physical therapist serving the community of New York City. Dr. Galindo-Pita attended Utica College, where she received her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.

Dr. Galindo-Pita is a part of the Outreach team. Patients see her for a variety of reasons, including back problems, ankle problems, movement disorder exercises, physical therapy consultations, and pain reduction exercises.

Dr. Galindo-Pita is uncompromising in her dedication to the well-being of her patients. She is committed to giving the best care and establishing long-lasting relationships with them. She welcomes patients from adults to seniors.”

Her specializations include Clinical Interest, Manual Therapy, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Sports Rehabilitation, and Geriatrics. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, yoga, swimming, and natural medicine. She also is interested in traveling, photography, art, and music. She is very family-oriented and loves to spoil her nephew and nieces.
